Street Level Photoworks
Workshop
Autograph (ABP) Roadshow - 20.10.12 - 12 till 3pm
Deadline
Friday 19 October 2012 at 15:00
You are invited to bring along examples of photography relating to family history that tells a story of Scottish culture as it relates to Black and Asian experience, aiming to help Autograph capture a 'missing chapter' of diverse British photographic history.
From family celebrations to 'ordinary' domestic life and studio portraits, this initiative aims to unearth, preserve and document those special moments that form part of everyone's family archive: images that capture a social history that represents an integral part of our wider cultural heritage in the UK, with a particular focus on migrant stories.
This event connects with the exhibitions by Ajamu and Arpita Shah and coincides with Black History Month 2013.
