Voluntary Learning Assistant

This is a brilliant opportunity to join Jupiter Artland Foundation’s Learning team, to gain insight into the running of the education ’s programme and experience of working with children and young people.
Jupiter Artland Education Foundation runs free educational tours/workshops for school children from nursery, primary, secondary and tertiary sectors, as well a programme of workshops for ages 2.5 to adult, children's parties and drop in activities in the Jupiter ArtHUT. Education activities run from February-November.
As a Voluntary Learning Assistant there will be opportunities to do a range of the following:
Assist with tours and hands on workshops with school and university groups
Assist with preschool termtime classes
Assist with holiday and termly arts workshops for children aged 2.5-12
Lead or assist drop in activities in the Jupiter ArtHUT during open season
Assist with children's outdoor birthday parties
Maintaining classrooms and woodland garden area
Keeping the ArtHut tidy and resourced
Training will be offered about each of the artworks, the background and ethos of Jupiter Artland, working with children and young people and our different workshop activities.

For you to get the most out of your experience and gain valuable insight into the learning programme we would ask for a minimum of 5 days commitment – this could be through 1 weeks work or by volunteering on a day per week for 4-6 weeks. There is no deadline to this application as our programme runs throughout the year.
