What Leith Needs... A Creative Conversation

The panel will discuss important issues about what the Leith community needs culturally, socially and creatively. Chaired by Morvern Cunningham of Leith Creative, the panel will consider the impact of the ongoing regeneration of Leith and how the community can have their say in the redevelopment of their area.
Morvern Cunningham is the event organiser and festival promoter of LeithLate, an annual Leith-based multi-arts event. Morvern also co-develops and delivers Leith Creative, a partnership project working with the people of Leith to collectively develop a creative vision for the future of the community.
Come along to this exciting event at the Old Leith Theatre on Monday 29th May, 6.00-7.15pm.
Tickets for the whole evening cost £11/£9. Also included in the programme for the evening is a screening of Fritz Lang's futuristic urban dystopia Metropolis, with a newly live scored soundtrack by the Reverse Engineer, Le Vangelis, WOLF, Matt Collings and Phil McBride. Also on this evening is BurnTisland's production of Leith-based John McPake and the Sea Beggars.
