Hands-On Programme Co-ordinator
Deadline: 05 June 2017 at 00:00
Hands-On Cove Park (HOCP) is a programme of creative workshops, events and talks for people in Argyll and Bute led by national and international professional artists currently and formerly resident at Cove Park. The programme of educational and participatory creative activities, ranging from Saturday Art Clubs to master classes, runs throughout the year offering something for children, families and older people alike.
Hands On has been running at Cove Park for almost a year. We are looking for an exceptional individual to build upon successes to date and drive the programme forward. Cove Park wishes to appoint a part-time [0.6] Programme Co-ordinator to develop and deliver our Hands-On programme, made possible by generous funding from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation and the Robertson Trust. You will be bright and confident with a practical, can do approach. You will have a love of the arts and local knowledge of the area in which we’re located. This post combines many elements, from curating a programme of activity, working in partnership with a wide range of community organisations, audience development and event delivery. We recognise the breadth of the role but also that it represents a fantastic opportunity for someone to gain skills in new areas and become an integrated part of a small, dedicated team. You will work closely with the art form Producers as well as the Director and Assistant Director and support, training and development opportunities will be provided, as required.
