Hidden Door Festival, Old Leith Theatre

A panel of women from the creative industries discuss experiences, struggles and successes encountered in their careers so far. Chaired by Janine Matheson of Creative Edinburgh, the panel will share opinions on representation, role models, and the importance of strong female voices in the industries, considering the main challenges to overcome and how we can collectively promote changing attitudes in the future.

Janine Matheson has over 10 years experience working in, and supporting those within the creative and cultural industries. She is the co-founder of Creative Edinburgh, which supports a network of 1800 individuals and businesses, through a diverse range of events and services. Janine is also a freelance creative producer, visual artist and founder of Sierra Metro.

Come along to this exciting event at the Old Leith Theatre on Wednesday 31st May, 6.30-7.45pm.

Tickets for the whole evening cost £11/£9. Also included in the programme for the evening are site specific theatre company Grid Iron, Ludens Ensemble, BurnTisland and Dispatch Feminist Moving Image.
