Edinburgh Bookbinders Meet-up

Deadline: 18 May 2017 at 20:00

Do you like to make books or dabble in a spot of bookbinding and/or journaling? Maybe you've attended a bookbinding class and have a project on the go that you would like to share with others?

This informal bookbinding meet-up is an opportunity for people who like to make books, to meet up and share ideas, inspiration and make together, over an all important cuppa.

Edinburgh Bookbinder Cassandra (of 'Bookbinding with Cass') will be on hand with some of her recent bookbinding projects, and her favourite bookbinding books and tutorials to share with you, as well as details of the monthly #AreYouBookEnough bookbinding challenge.

This is a free event, but those attending are asked to register to give us an idea of numbers and who to expect. Please do bring along any current projects, books you have made and/or any bookbinding books/tutorials that you would recommend, to share the bookbinding love.

Swap shop: If you're having a spring clean of your craft stash, this meet-up could be a good opportunity to share your surplus stock with other crafters, and maybe pick up some bits & bobs to incorporate into your next project.

Please note: this is not a bookbinding class, but an opportunity to share and learn from each other. For bookbinding classes at granton:hub, see (weekly bookbinding classes, Monday evenings in May).
