EIFF Works In Progress
Edinburgh International Film Festival
Deadline: 01 May 2017 at 17:00
EIFF is committed to developing and enhancing the existing film industry along with supporting and promoting exciting new films and talent.
Building on the success of 2016, we are currently seeking applications to be included in the second EIFF Works in Progress, a one-day event where invited international sales agents, distributors, producers and festival programmers can get an ahead-of-the-game look at upcoming British feature films.
EWiP will offer a selection of quality narrative feature projects which are in production or post-production and are seeking an international sales agent.
EWiP 2017 will be held on Sunday 25th June.
Up to 10 projects will be selected, and each will present a short pitch including a trailer or film clips to invited Industry professionals with the aim of providing opportunities for projects to reach completion and be taken to international markets.
During the presentation afternoon there will be time for one-on-one meetings with project producers who can provide more information on their films.
Projects must meet the following requirements to enter:
• the film must be in production or post-production with any potential premiere taking place after EIFF 2017
• the film must not have an international sales agent
• the presentation must include a maximum of five minutes of footage or a trailer
The EIFF selection committee will announce its decision by mid May. If your film is selected the project presenter will receive EIFF accreditation, two nights accommodation in Edinburgh and UK return travel.
To submit your project please fill out the Application Form (on our website) and send to email@example.com with the subject heading 'EIFF Works in Progress 2017'.
EIFF Works in Progress is supported through the Scottish Government’s Edinburgh Festivals Expo Fund and by Creative Scotland.
