Creative Scotland's Knowledge and Research Team produce a free bi-monthly digest of key arts, screen and creative industries research from around the world.

In the latest issue (February 2017), this includes further research on the role of culture in placemaking; a major global report from UNESCO on culture and sustainable urban development and a report from IFACCA looks at the relationship between national and local government in relation to cultural policy.

International research includes festivalisation, internships and audience development in the ENCATC Journal of Cultural Management Policy and briefings from the world cities culture forum in Moscow and the IFACCA world summit in Malta.
