Creative Scotland

Deadline: 31 July 2017 at 17:00

Creative Scotland's Knowledge and Research Team produce a free bi-monthly digest of key arts, screen and creative industries research from around the world.

In the latest issue (May 2017), this includes new data on local authority funding and support for culture; research on the contribution of culture to regeneration and placemaking; equalities research exploring audience diversity and gender equality; and government data suggesting a drop in literacy skills. From Wales, a new report on children’s engagement in culture and details of attendance at Welsh portfolio arts organisations. In addition, digitisation and technology are the focus of three new reports; and there are fascinating sector surveys on crafts, music and the games sector.
