Asgard is a rapidly expanding Viking jewellery company, which makes and distributes classic pieces of jewellery and accessories across the world.
After a voyage south 2 years ago we are now based in Dunoon, Argyll, and we are looking for new members of staff to join our talented hoard of Vikings.

As part of the review of the current Organisational Structure Asgard are recruiting for a Production and Operations Manager

The key aspects of this role are to:

Manage the production and distribution of all customer orders through the complete supply process

Undertake Line Management responsibility for the Production and Distribution Team, and ensure that an appropriate reporting and escalation structure is established at all levels

Main Duties and Responsibilities

General duties:

Management of production and distribution schedule

Ensure that appropriate systems, databases and procedures are established and maintained to support the effective running of the

Business Production and Distribution Department

Conduct benchmarking, trend analysis and manage workflow and staff performance based on productivity, order requirements and strategic priorities communicated by the Business

Produce timely and accurate management reports on reports on performance against targets

To develop robust operational procedures and ensure staff are compliant with Health and safety, First Aid and other workplace requirements

Identifying managing and escalates risks and issues as necessary

Induct, train, manage and develop departmental staff

Support in the recruitment of staff to the Business

Input into development of business cases and proposals to establish new business development projects

Line management

Line Management of the Production and Distribution staff

Quality improvement

Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and services
Ensure that policies and procedures in the work area are up to date reviewed as necessary
