Voluntary/Unpaid Positions

Board Members

Tricky Hat

Deadline: 16 June 2017 at 17:00

Tricky Hat Productions, founded in 2005 by Artistic Director, Fiona Miller is a company which creates and delivers theatre based projects across Scotland.

Working with us, people who live on the margins of society find a creative and credible voice through participation in high quality, collaborative, cross-arts events alongside high caliber arts practitioners.

Partnerships are at the heart of our work and we have particular expertise in working with older people.

We are seeking up to three new active and engaged trustees to supplement the board’s current base of skills and experience. We would particularly welcome those with:
• HR and legal expertise
• International working experience
• Partnership development knowledge
• Third sector/social enterprise fundraising success

Early to mid-career arts administrators who are looking to expand their knowledge of management and board working are also welcome.

Although Tricky Hat’s office is in Glasgow, our activity extends across Scotland. Applicants from outside of the central belt are welcomed. We will provide a contribution towards travel expenses for successful candidates.

Tricky Hat is an ambitious company with a growing reputation in Scotland and internationally. As well as advocating for the company, trustees will be part of implementing Tricky Hat’s next phase of development. Trustees are voluntary, unpaid roles. This is an excellent opportunity for professional development and being part of the strategic direction of a developing company.

The Board normally meets 6 times a year.
