Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop
Deadline: 16 June 2017 at 17:00
Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop provides spaces, equipment and resources designed to support production, research and learning. Our spaces are open to all and we run a programme of residencies, public events, courses and workshops as well as hosting activities by artists and organisations.
The Technician plays an essential role in supporting individuals, groups and organisations working at ESW. This support includes the delivery of training, inductions and specialist fabrication and ensuring the implementation of ESW's Health & Safety, Environment and access policies. The Technicians also provide support for the planning and delivery of the programme.
Candidates will have some experience of the equipment and processes supported within the workshops and through the programme, but this is an opportunity for anyone interested in developing skills and experience in workshop management and the post holder will receive training to support them in their role. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to the busy environment and sensitive to the contrasting needs and requirements of the different communities working at ESW.
Location: Edinburgh City
