Mask Making Classes

Deadline: 02 June 2017 at 14:00

In this interactive class, we will make masks using traditional clay moulding and plaster casting techniques. You will sculpt in clay, cast, fabricate and decorate your mask. You will take home a hand made mask to keep or perhaps give as a very special gift. You will learn sculpting, casting and moulding techniques which have been used by mask makers in Italy for centuries – but which can be used to make any style of mask – it’s up to you!

Materials will be provided, no previous experience is necessary, just a willingness to try things out and enjoy!

Age range - Adults and older teenagers.
