Deadline: 31 January 2018 at 18:00

Fairly central position in UK, 16 miles from Dumfries Station, not far from A75, but with a peaceful rural setting.

The studio is a conversion of an old coach house. It is well-insulated, heated by a choice of a woodburner or electric heaters, has kitchenette (sink, microwave & fridge) and shower room, projector and screen (for presentations/cinema), folding trestle tables and comfortable vinyl padded chairs.

Property is set in 11 acres so ample outdoor work-space and parking.

Another Coach House provides luxury 4 star accommodation, sleeping up to 14 people in 6 bedrooms, has 2 open plan kitchens/dining/seating areas (dining tables seat max. 16 and 6). Ample outdoor seating.

Flexible extra accommodation available - in main house (2 family rooms - 2 pet cats in house) or a bedouin tent- useful if individuals want sole occupancy of a bedroom. There is also space for participants' tents.

While the studio and house are simply offered for rent to course providers, and the proprietors do not organise the courses, these can be advertised on the Durhamhill website and on the 'Leisure Courses' website.

Contact details of good local caterers and advice on places to eat can be given.

Durhamhill has a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere and there are llamas and hens. Course participants are welcome to help feed these and, in good weather, they can have a trip in a motorcycle sidecar.

The studio is only available separately from the accommodation on weekdays.

Rental periods are 1 -7+ nights for most of year and between 16th June and 22nd August for whole weeks only.
