How do I search?
Filters in the left hand margin allow you to draw down smaller lists of information by Type of Opportunity and Creative Area. Expand either one or both of these menus, tick the options you are interested in, and press "apply filter".
How do I start my search again?
Press "clear filter" in the left hand navigation.
Can I receive newsletters?
Yes, by registering. When you create your account, you can select the types of opportunities and areas you are interested in. If you have already registered, you can change these preferences by clicking on Profile.
How do I upload an opportunity?
To add an opportunity you first need to register via the link in the top right of the homepage. Once registered you can then sign in and select Add Opportunity in the top right of the homepage.
Why haven't I received the newsletter?
Your spam settings could be re-directing the email to your junk folder. Please add email@example.com to your safe senders list to ensure this doesn't happen again. Also make sure that you have ticked the box under your Profile settings that confirms you are happy to receive notifications.
How do I change my account settings?
When you are signed in you will see a link near the top (part of your Personal Dashboard) called Profile. Here you can change the content of the emails you receive as well as unsubscribe from the mailing list.
Why do Creative Scotland allow unpaid positions on the site?
Ads on the Opportunities site are uploaded by third parties and moderated by Creative Scotland. We will only approve voluntary positions if they are upfront about being unpaid and also offer a genuine opportunity to gain experience or collaborate. If you feel that an advertiser isn't being honest about what they are offering, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or use the "Report this ad" link found on every page and we'll look into it.
Why is the website not displaying correctly?
This website should work on most web browsers and devices. However, if you are using Internet Explorer, please ensure 'compatibility view' is switched off under the Tools menu. If you need assistance, please contact email@example.com.
Can I change my email address?
Unfortunately it is not currently possible to change the email address associated with your account. If you need to change your email address, you will need to register a new account.
